Just got off the phone with my mother who lives in FL.
She saw her doctor today who told her to either get vaccinated or find a new doctor.
Hippocratic Oath be damned!

Anybody have any advice other than telling the doc to go find a big branch to screw himself with?
Report him to state board?

How old is your mom?
Did she have Rona before?

I disagree with withholding care, but she might be very high risk.

Any doctor that would tell a patient something like that is not a doctor you want treating you or a loved one. Consider it a blessing in disguise and find a new doctor.

Would she not take other medications he might recommend? Why make a stand with this one at his recommendation? Just get the vaccine, especially if you're over 65.

If she isn't going to take his medical advice, she should go to a new doctor.

Many doctors tend to be dictators when it comes to treatment.

If you do anything to subvert them, they will come at you.

Friend of mine has digestive issues and got told never to come back because she questioned why they didn’t bother to check for certain issues like celiac disease which require low gluten or no gluten diets.

Sounds like her doctor wants to help her avoid a bad situation. That's his job.

I don't agree with withholding future services for her but I'd imagine these doctors are tired of watching patients die.

So when doctors say stop smoking and lose weight and you dont, they should refuse to treat you?

Just making sure your dumbass is consistent.

Then dont be a doctor.

Their patients all die at some point.

Quiting addictions to cigs and food is tough, but a lot of doctors might drop you if you don't even make an effort.

The only obstacle to overcome in getting a vaccine is to stop being an idiot.

I think the doctor is doing your mother a favor.

This is the doctor equivalent of finding out your girlfriend is a complete psycho BEFORE you marry her.

Lol. The leftist worship of billion dollar corporations under the guise of public health is a sight to behold.

Do you blindly follow medical advice? If so you are living a dangerous life.

Of course not, but I'm glad you recognize the health risks associated with ignoring your doctor's advice to get vaccinated.

To the OP, unfortunately, she's just going to have to find another doctor. If she doesn't agree with his treatment plan for her, that's probably for the best anyway.

Anyone saying a "good doctor" would do this... your life must suck.

A "good doctor" would listen and provide options. If you aren't comfortable with this, we can try this. At least they might say, let's do this first, then revisit the vaccine later.

This is all so stupid. Your mom should just tell him she got the vaccine at Walmart and she's good.
