Everyone's touchy about this stuff now. But you can't condemn our reaction to this while turning your head to the reaction to MAGA.

I'm not speaking politically, just logically.

So you are going to tell a 4th grader that they need to carry your political water pail for you?

That's pathetic. Let your kid be 10 years old. Plenty enough time later on for you to brainwash her =)

You just conflated anti-immigrant with racism. I don't want anyone of any race entering the country illegally. I don't want anyone of any race allowed in legally if they don't have marketable job skills that will result in them staying off welfare.

This X 1000.

Dare the teacher to make it an issue.

"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" Commie scum teacher assigned this sentence as part of my 4th graders writing assignment. Thinking about making an issue of it. So tired of the left trying to redistribute wealth and poison our childrens minds in every facet of their life. Even in schools! I thank Jesus Christ every day for hand-picking Donald J. TRUMP to overthrow the evils of globalism and the preservation of traditional American Values.

That statement can be seen as religious as well. Some of you would spit on the words of a Jesus that I was taught in grade school while calling him mentally ill, TDS riddled scum.

Oh, bullshite. That is a blatant political statement designed to indoctrinate kids against Trump's stated immigration policy.

You’re assuming intent from one sentence. It could easily be construed as a sentence reaffirming the values of Western culture

Senor Frogs are EVERYWHERE in Mexico. I assume they are owned by an American, which is kind of funny / sad. In Puerto Vallarto there were like 4 different Senor Frogs establishments on the same main drag and then another few throughout the rest of the city, another couple in the airport, etc.

Just have her add "MAGA". It is basically his message, create jobs and opportunities for all Americans.

If that "sentence" was actually written by an English teacher then that English teacher should be fired for a failure to properly teach English. Forget the political aspect.

I think making the country better for everyone is lower taxes, less spending and more freedom.

Apparently you subconsciously believe only progressive policies like amnesty are the way to make the country better. That's a you problem having nothing to do with the statement as presented.

It wasn't just illegal immigration he railed against (E.g. his call for a complete ban on muslims entering the country)

As defined by who? Work ethic is pretty much a universally marketable job skill. Let's not pretend most jobs take some kind of special talent.

1. This didn't happen

2. Muslims are not a race.

Ftr, anyone banging on the English teacher for the dangling preposition, it’s a rule of Latin, not the English language. Otherwise, dumb assignment.

State's Senator. Anyway, it's a liberal town and most of the kid's parents were cool with it.
