BS. He was going to pardon him whether he was the nominee and lost, or got dumped like he did. This wasn't an act of spite, but one of self-preservation.

Nah.

It was the plan all along.

It was going to happen no matter what else happened.

He was going to pardon him already because it left Joe open for his Ukraine & China deals while Joe was VP.

There is not a sentient being alive who does not believe that.

It was all a matter of 'when' - not 'whether'

the only surprise to me is the timing - I expected it to be 'last day' announcement.

they must be trying to leverage the media coverage to dampen down something else.

I think it is hilarious that he did this because it does put hypocrisy on full display. But I think the real reason he did it is because the Dems screwed him and he did not want to sacrifice his son for the party that dumped him. I don't blame him, but it is a delicious contradiction and I cannot wait to hear KJP have to answer for it! She should resign because it is going to be ugly.

No. This is a deal between the people who call the shots and Joe. Joe agreed to pardon others (yet to come) and gets to pardon Hunter in return.

I’m with you. Of course it was going to happen. But why not wait until last day?

I love how the host tries to justify it because it’s his son.

Nope. A deal implies something in exchange for something else. What does Joe get out of this? He didn’t need anything from anybody to pardon Hunter; that power was his and his alone.

I’m sure Joe will pardon all kinds of people, but that won’t be quid pro quo for Hunter’s pardon; it will be for money, more than likely.

Walsh reminds me of the white progressive girl who went to Syria to support the freedom fighters of Isis and got raped.

Did Walsh really believe he was siding with a political party with morals?
