Considering that Native Americans actually have their own "Nation(s)" based upon a treaty from long ago (I think each "Nation" is a Nation unto itself). The elected chief of each Nation would be their equivalent to our President (DJT). Do they actually have standing to vote since they are a member of "insert" Nation? As a privileged white man I know that I cannot vote in an election of the "insert Nation".

It was not uncommon for runaway slaves to intermarry with resident tribes on their journey North. "Melungeons" was a term used to describe anyone with a mix of European, African, and Native bloodlines, but their history is a little murky.
Once you hit Virginia/Appalachia there was a whole contingent of freed blacks that had mingled populations with native tribes dating back to early colonial times, making it very easy to blend in.

I can't believe this is real life anymore. The astounding ridiculousness of this isn't even quantifiable.
And we're just getting started. We still have two more years before the 2020 election. How much more ridiculous can we get? I know it'll get worse.
