I hate Pete but this is an odd thing to be mad about. If they were touting his sexuality you'd be complaining like "ugh why do they have to keep pushing his sexuality on us!"

This alone tells you that most folks are not cool with the gay. Look no further than the Democratic lady in Iowa who wanted to change her vote once she found out about Pete's sexuality.

And. It isn't about them touting it.
But they clearly are AVOIDING it and they're doing so because it would harm him in the primaries and EVERYONE knows it.

I felt the same way a year ago. But since then I've read 2 books that covered the importance of intersectionality. It's real and it's huge with Dem voters. If you're not a member of at least one marginalized group you have no validity.

I have to admit that I find it extremely odd that they have given very little attention to the fact that the first openly gay presidential candidate just won the first state primary and is leading in New Hampshire. What's their reason? Nervous that the deep south democrats aren't a fan of homosexuality?
