Mrs. M Update: 15 January 2022/Lane RMC

Friends,
I’ll try to hit high points. The gist.

1. Off ventilator Thursday afternoon 13 Jan.
2. Last night taken off feeding tube/clear liquids dinner and breakfast this am. Lunch and dinner today solid food. All handled well.
3. Physical Therapy evaluation today. Legs virtually unaffected and exceptionally strong. Arms likewise. 10 minute trial sit up on bed side. Mrs. M sat herself up had brief drop in blood oxygen but stabilized herself back to high 90’s. Resting now between 98-100.
4. Tomorrow or Monday out of ICU to a step down room on same floor.
5. Totally alert and participating in her care and recovery.
6. And now fully aware of TD’s prayers’ and support’s impact on the magnitude of this miracle. She’s had literal tears of gratitude. In truth, so have I.

No words can ever convey my gratitude or her’s for the tender kindness and powerful prayers offered by our TD friends to support my bride of 43 years. We are profoundly and forever grateful.
