Unfortunately they do not give the antibodies to hospitalized patients. I guess they figure they are too sick? Not part of the protocol

Are you able to go and visit during visiting hours or has covid changed that yet again?

Talk to and ask anyone who will listen to your concerns. Call he pcp if she has one and lean on him heavily to try everything aside from remdesevir.

Crazy? Are you sure? Has anyone on this message board been wrong more than Fauxi? Pretty damn sure he has more training than almost everyone here.

Checking in, hope there’s good progress here.

The politicization/monetization of this medical issue is evil. All doctors should be able to choose the treatment protocols they think is best and the public should be able to choose which docs they want to use. It should really be that simple.

Well when your trusted sources are infowars, Joe rogan and Tiger droppings, we’ll have to agree to disagree

No problem disagreeing with a dumb prick who thinks Tiger dropping or Joe Rogan are the sources rather than the conduit to the actual sources.

innovative Covid treatment protocols
Monoclonal Antibody Infusion Therapy saved my life and that of my wife.

My oxygen levels were down into the upper 70s.

Good luck and prayers to you, sir.

From what I have read and heard, you have a 5 day window from the onset of symptoms to get the monoclonal antibodies.

Anything after that 5 days is too late.

I'm going to guess that by day five your body is already producing maximum antibodies. The monoclonal antibodies are probably intended as a head start. After five days they would just be wasted and redundant.

Thus my question earlier in the thread.

If the chance of having a person who is hypoxic having their symptoms complicated is the issue with MAB for mild to moderate patients, what’s the other option? Wait until the patient is intubated? Then what?

First off, I hope your wife makes a quick and speedy recovery.

My advice to you would be to listen to her doctors and stop listening to most of the idiots on this board.

I second this point of view, however, there are stupid doctors. I would discuss this with several doctors who are experienced with treating covid. As long as they all agree, I would take their advice.

What if 70% agree on one treatment protocol and 30% agree on another protocol.

Shouldn’t we be able to choose which group we prefer and get that protocol?

Sure. But that's not what I would do, which is to either seek other doctors out or make a judgement on which doctors I respect and do what they say. I don't know enough about medicine to do as you suggest and choose among treatments. I think I do know enough about people to pick the right doctors and follow their advice.

What we uneducated know, is that we have witnessed the CORRUPTION of a lot of certified Physicians via pressure from a politicized Government Bureaucracy, for various reasons. Physicians used to believe in Government-backed Lobotomies too. A MD Certificate in today's world don't mean what it used to. Think Fauci.
