You shouldn't hate them. I suggest going to the YouTube channel 1420 by Daniil Orain and watch a few. So one comes away knowing they are smart people. The younger people really don't like Putin. Many though respond by saying they are "not political" which means they think the government watches that stuff.
Many women are gorgeous, true. And looking at Moscow or St Petersburg the cities look clean. For those who would wonder when asked about whether they would ever want to date someone from another country many say they would not because of the language differences and the difference in culture.
Daniil Orain may be producing selective propaganda. He does not like Putin.
On a side note, I was impressed by the number of young people in orthodontic braces.
Finally when he goes out in the country, the people are very nationalistic and love Putin and "the greatness of Russia". And they hate the US. And a lot of them look like hell and are self-admitted drunks.
