Truth. Loughner was originally very liberal in his younger days. He became paranoid and was treated for psychosis. He was a conspiracy guy and very delusional. I hate what he did. Again, there were many chances to intervene before this happened.

What, EMAIL a threat to a politician? Nah, they just do it in person at restaurants, in TV interviews, on social media, etc. OR they send an actual letter with anthrax and ricin.

They see writing a condemnation of Democrats as the same as attacking actual people and destroying property, like the Democrats brown shirts did in NYC.
Sending an email about threatening someone isn’t the same as assaulting people in restaurants, destroying property, or sending ricin-laced letters to politicians.
