I don't see that happening. The Dems are certainly rooting for Moore to win, the long game for them is has a greater reward. Jones won't survive the 2020 cycle when the RNC puts in a stronger candidate.
So a 2 year victory only solidifies the conservative base. Especially if votes came down to failing due to the lost seat in Alabama. The Dem long game is what they're playing, Jones is nothing but a martyr for the cause.
