Money for National Parks were diverted to Projects in DC including Ballroom.

The funding shift has been heavily scrutinized by lawmakers and park advocates because the administration redirected millions of dollars from national park entrance fee accounts to pay for renovations in Washington, D.C. Rather than going toward the park system's multi-billion-dollar maintenance backlog, the reallocated funds have been tied to projects such as the East Wing ballroom construction, fountain repairs, and statue restorations.
I love what a lot of things The President is doing, but not so much this. Just doesn’t seem necessary when the National Park system is struggling so bad with finances.

Lemmie guess, you voted for Trump 3x, and are MAGA through and through, but THIS time he's gone too far?

Everything you mentioned falls under the National Park Service. I think derelict, neglected and inoperable fountains were also part of a “maintenance backlog”.

Yea.. we should just take that money and give it to Gavin Newsom and Tim Walz

Well, I’m disappointed they’re worried about a ballroom when they’re is still wrong stuff that ain’t been rightened, still broked stuff in our country that ain’t been fixed, and still a pickup bed slap full of bad stuff that they ain’t turned to good stuff yet. So you betcha Im angry as a Texas waubanchee on a hot Rhode Island day.
Fixe the broke stuff already, guys.

Oduma diverted millions of cash stacked on pallets to Iran. Brandon diverted billions to illegals and NGOs. Nobody gave a shite in either party. Therefore, this is merely standard operating procedure for the federal elected class.

I've never voted for Trump, but I'd love to see someone justify tearing down the East Wing and dumping money into this ridiculous ballroom.
and how about the disastrous reflecting pool project and proposed arch?
Is it just about Trump's ego or is he just a frustrated designer and architect?
I guess spreading his overblown, shitty taste in Manhattan wasn't enough.
Now he has to crap on tne nation's capitol before he leaves?

This is what desperation and lunacy looks like.
You guys have a problem with the ballroom because Trump is doing it.
Get over it.

How about your vandals stop fricking up the reflecting pool? Damn thing has been a sieve for over 100 years, but you only trash Trump for trying to fix something that was every bit as a swamp under Obama but you didn't give a damn.
With all sincerity, GFY.

For the millionth time the ballroom is privately funded. The underground bunker complex, which is not a ballroom, is not.

I don’t have a problem with him building a Ballroom. I have a problem with him saying he’s paying for it, when he’s clearly not. As for other past presidents irresponsibly spending taxpayers money. I agree that’s wrong as well. Two wrongs don’t make a right, and we taxpayers deserve better!

Money for National Parks went to National Parks in DC. I don’t see what the issue is here. Lots of NPS resources went to funding projects and events for the 250th.
