Could write the paper with a “it was interesting to discover equity and equal rights do exist. Personal choice and lack of accountability seem to be root causes for any disparity” angle.

How can I help?
It starts with honest dialogue and statistical analysis.

Here is what the school curriculum says about 7th grade English

quote:

The Seventh Grade Language Arts course is designed around the Ohio Learning Standards to increase students’ ability to understand, analyze, evaluate, and synthesize increasingly complex literature and informational texts. Students will also practice the art of speaking and listening and the craft of argumentative, narrative, informational, and poetic writing. Essential questions focusing on identity, perseverance, conformity, and challenges are explored within both the reading and writing.

Seems a bit vague and also like word salad BS

Unless you live in a very conservative town I advise anyone to leave the public schools to rot.

They will use every open avenue to go for the kids. In most cases they have them longer than the parents.

Hypothetical:
School: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Sports/band/clubs: 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Home by: 5:30 pm
Parents home: 6:00-6:30 pm
Dinner: 7:00-7:30 pm
Chat: During dinner+30 min
Homework: 8:00-10:00 pm

Teachers & coaches get them for 8-10 hr
Parents: 2 hrs

Persuasive writing can fall under some English curriculum. I think I would have gone with fair voting right and mapping. Explain the importance of every person's voice should carry equal weight, one person one vote, and the need for verification of the person casting the vote is who they say they are. Mapping should follow logical boundaries and consider more than just race. White Baptist in dry areas of north Louisiana don't always share the same views as white Cajuns in Lafayette.

I would choose gun laws and explain that the evidence should that black men that live inside of a Democratic controlled citizen should t be allowed to have weapons.

The Gun laws topic is a good opportunity to research and show that gun laws are a violation of civil rights.

I live in ascension parish bro. They had a trans kid on Dutchtowns homecoming court and my kids classrooms at Prairieville Middle had rainbow pride flags in them.

My kid is now in private school.

Yep. Have you kid write on how women should be included in selective service/military draft.

Not that I want my daughters in the military but I shut up a libitard women in an argument about equal protection by telling her have her 19 yr old daughter sign up for the draft. She came back saying she didn’t believe in Military action oversees. I asked her what would have happened in 1941 if 1 million men thought that way? No response.

Great opportunity to help your kid write an essay on why gun laws are unconstitutional.

This.

Every single one of those topics could be argued from the side opposite of what the teacher is obviously trying to get the kids to write about.

Pick a topic your kid is genuinely interested in and zig when the teacher thinks all the students will zag; throw it back in the teacher's face. If the paper is graded on anything other than grammar, structure or other English topics (or what the curriculum dictates), then go to the administration and demand an explanation.

That IS the context.
It is the usual Marxist word salad bullshite.
Try talking about the opposing viewpoint to any of that garbage and see what happens in the classroom.
Plus the student is just starting to hear about this and hasn't had any real world experience or ability to digest information and think critically about it, and is probably too young to really understand what is being shoved in their heads.
IOW it is fricking indoctrination in a government "school".

Choose "Religious Rights" and then rant about how Christians are persecuted while the Left kisses the asses of Muslims and other de facto religions like "______" (insert blank with all the other choices on their list, since activism/progressivism IS their religion)
