If tweet fails to load, click here. Democrats voted UNANIMOUSLY to not require the removal of dead people from Minnesota’s voter rolls last night.
This is insane.
Why would anyone oppose this?

If only Republicans were this uniformly cohesive.

The longer this goes, the more they expose who they truly are- the enemy of the People…

Alright, they put it in writing, signed their names etc. I want to know, every MN election going forward, what % of votes were cast by the dead & what % of said votes voted D vs. R.
Put the idiocy on full blast, they have nothing to hide right??

There's a reason MN native, America First/MAGA patriot, Royce White calls Minnesomalia the "belly of the beast".......because it is.

At least these totalitarians are forced to do this in the open and harsh light. There's no more hiding their duplicity.

Serious question, what were points argued to not remove them?

Well, maybe it's because Christians believe that when you die you go to Heaven. So It's like casting an absentee ballot.

This is the argument. Still bad. I just hate how every fricking headline these days just blows.
quote:
Election officials (including MN Secretary of State's office) say the current system marks deceased voters inactive but retains the records for cross-referencing. This lets them flag fraudulent attempts to re-register or vote in those names. Full removal would erase that audit trail, potentially making impersonation harder to detect. Dead people remain ineligible either way.

Minnesota has always been the outlier. Now, they are in the face of every American and asking, "What are you going to do about it"?

This is why I think we eventually split. You cannot share a country when elections aren't secure.

Everyone knows the democrats cheat with absentee ballots. I don’t think votes are being changed remotely, that wouldn’t hold up an audit, I think the network connections are in place in the voting machines to get live counts so that absentee ballots from registered voters can be filled out to the number they need with legal voters who haven’t voted because they are either dead or have not voted in years.

My first thought is that removing dead people was not the only provision of the bill.
This is textbook politics. Find one portion that should have been fine to address and totally ignore the more contentious provisions so that you can write a good “the other side is corrupt” article.
But I haven’t read the bill. And apparently neither has the original journalist or the OP.
I’ll give it a read. But it might be more efficient to see if anyone fact checked it in the comments.
Edit #1: apparently opposition votes felt that allowing dead people to vote is the mechanism for detecting voter fraud. The argument is they want to detect fraud rather than prevent it. That raises the question as to whether or not they have a history of allowing transparent auditing to detect fraud, or do they block attempts to detect it. I’ll keep reading.

That is the first "go to" in any one's mind regarding leaving them there to catch fraud. What a simple concept to hide corruption with.
Can you imagine if such strategy were used to catch a rapist or pedophile?

Never in the history of dead people voting has one vote been in favor of republicans. Democrats leave no stone unturned to make sure they vote that way

So after every election, they need to audit and submit the results of thst audit to federal authorities. Im sure that's being done, right?

Minnesota should be excluded from voting in Federal Elections until they perform basic maintenance of their voter rolls and follow all procedures to insure elecion integrity.
