Even after her fellow judge's damning testimony I'm still shocked. Milwaukee County is deep blue.

Big smile on my face over here for sure!

Can someone pull up some of the breathless articles from the time of the arrest from the MSM talking about fascism and the like?

Remember too, that this illegal she helped escape justice was charged with several counts of domestic battery. The victim was in the courtroom.
I hope (but doubt) that fact will come into play for sentencing.

ACLU, from April 25:
quote:

“We want to allow due process to be carried out, with all facts available to the public. However, it is readily apparent that ICE arrests in courthouses gravely impact the willingness of immigrant communities to come forward as victims or witnesses of crime, and seek out help or due process they have a right to.

Judges have a duty to maintain order in their courtrooms and ensure the fair administration of justice, and federal law does not require state judges to act as agents of federal immigration enforcement.

In recent weeks, the administration has attacked the integrity of our judicial system on both sides of the bench – attacking judges for their rulings and lawyers for their past advocacy. These unprecedented actions seriously undermine faith in our legal system and threaten the freedom and safety of judges who make decisions the administration doesn’t like.”

Her DUTY is to uphold the LAW... not obstruct it which is exactly what she did, and found guilty in a heavy DEMOCRATIC county

She claimed "Judicial Immunity", just what the hell does that mean? If she has her robe on, she's not guilty and can do anything she wants I guess.

She claimed Judicial immunity referencing a letter a judge had written regarding this.......

She wrote the letter herself

She wrote it after she had been caught

The hubris of this one is quite amazing.

She is still getting paid 175K per year and will probably continue because it is being appealed. But she will probably lose the robe and her license to practice.

Much of modern law is based on Latin premise. When I ran the term “judicial immunity” through an English to Latin translator, it came back with “dindu nuffin”

She will get 20 hours of community service and a $100 plus cost fine. Maybe $400 total.

Dems DO NOT punish their own.

She was trying to make laws as she went along based on her feelings. She was living in the liberal bubble where virtue signaling is more important than upholding laws.

A little time in the big house would give her the opportunity to fluff up that resume and try to scratch together a job as a newly convicted felon.

Good. About time someone gets held accountable

Several more judges need the same treatment.

Actually follow through with it or stop writing stories about it.

They run their mouth and never lock anyone up.

Until I see this count in bracelets the job isnt done.
