There’s a clear victim. Quit the charade. You don’t have any moral force behind your argument. You just prefer your position.

The power to stop obvious child abuse seems well within the lines.
And these scumbags aren't doctors.

I see the post title and the first thing that pops in my head is that Governor doesn't have a lick of common sense or is morally void.

Yep, this is simply adults preying on children.

It is extremely rare for a child with gender dysphoria or similar issues to receive any transition treatment. There’s pretty rigid protocol and therapy beforehand.

when you suggest that trump run as a new party, people jump in and say that only splits the votes and elects democrats. so you keep the republican party together and elect people like mike dewine.

The parent should lose custody of any kid transitioned. Theyre not fit to parent

Mike DeWine, should step down as governor, since he doesn't have a basic grasp of right and wrong.
This is in line with, Ketanji Jackson, saying that she can't define: Woman - since she isn't a biologist.
People that speak in such terms should not be trusted.

This isn’t true.
Go check out Reddit and you can find the playbook for a kid to transition.

Innocent? They want it.
Become an activist and do interventions if you want to do something about it. You’ll never be able to keep up with the amount of idiots out there.
Again - you can’t legislate morality. Otherwise you’re a progressive.
Just curious…If parents were prostituting their children out to pedophiles would you be okay with that if the child agreed to it? Because that is where your logic takes us.

Exactly.
All laws are based on mores.

Statutory rape is a huge example, because a child is not seen as able to make good decisions in that area
That’s a bit different IMO. I don’t know of many situations where an entire family supports statutory rape and a doctor agrees it’s ok.
Doesn't matter. The law does not allow for parental exceptions becuase if a nutjob set of parents exist (and believe me there are a few of them out there) no justification they can come up with is good enough to allow their child to engage in sexual congress with an adult. It causes irreperable harm to the child.
The same holds true with the vast majority* of these modern sex change and puberty blocking cases for the exact same reasons. Messing with a child's reproductive organs and the hormones and emotions related to those organs causes irreperable harm that is just not justifiable.
*The vast majority being the cases where a child's gender or sex is voluntarily changed due to social or political pressures, not sitautions where a child might be born deformed.

I voted for a democrat governor out of protest. I knew he'd win but I couldn't cast my ballot for him. I am a straight R ticket too.
Not a straight ticket if you voted for even one democrat. Unless you vote for all democrats. But you didn't say that though.

"Gender affirming care" is sickening abuse in all forms

DeWine looks like Norm, from Something About Mary, grew up and got a job

Bump to say the house and senate both voted to override the veto.
The bill passes.
