One housing project has been without gas service in its building since July due to restoration and repair work apparently. The city is offering residents there a $15 gift card as compensation for their troubles.

America is 12% black but Hispanics are 19% of the population and rapidly growing and will probably be 25% in 20 years.

When I lived elsewhere, I worked soup kitchens. I had to stay in the back cooking the food because I would end up seeing a few (not a lot, but more than I could stand) guys with the absolute latest iPhones in line getting themselves a free meal. Would work a bridge ministry and end up seeing the shiniest of Mercedes pull up to get a free meal too. It's incredibly difficult when you can also see a dude in line asking for the most inane things that he can stuff in his windbreaker to improve the warmth.
