Michigan is gone my friend.

Trump campaign suspended all Ads there this week.

You don't do that 3 months out unless it's really really a lost cause.

M2, you've misassessed. What you missed is he pulled ads everywhere. The new campaign manager didn't buy into the theme.

IMO Trump wins Michigan.

Biden's Green New Deal is a no-geaux there.

Do you agree it wasn't ad spending but his free marketing campaign rallies that moved the needle in 2016?

I agree that the rallies were a force.

But what happens to those people that voted for Trump in 2016? Are you saying they will stay home or vote for Biden? IMO, they are going to get out of the house and vote for Trump again.

Part of me wants to see a 269-269 tie with Trump winning the House vote just for maximum liberal meltdown. If Trump wins PA but loses AZ, that’s a high percentage of possible outcomes. But in a 269-269 tie, I would not feel good about GOP maintaining Senate majority. Hoping and praying Trump can compete close enough in MI to put James over the top as we desperately need to flip that Senate seat as CO/AZ are just about for sure gone, NC and ME look 75% gone, and MT is a coin flip right now.

I 100% agree with you that the same voters will go for trump again ever one of them. The issue is that 293k less people voted in 2016 for Hillary than they did Obama even including trumps number. That is very concerning lol

He wouldn't win the House vote. Democrats control the House if you haven't noticed.

Yep that was my vibe from my Michigan trip as well. Generally speaking it was the same houses with Trump flags in 20 as 16, but most new flags were in front of businesses, which I found gutsy/surprising.

I guess I disagree solely because it was the closest of the 3 rust belt blue wall that he won in 2016. As you'll see in my post to gumbo. 300k voters sat out in 2016 compared to 2012 that voted Obama. Trump will definitely keep his voters the issue is where do all of those old Obama votes go?

Exactly
The concern troll did the same stuff in 2016

Yes he would. House vote is by state delegations and GOP still controls the majority of state delegations.

I understand why the enthusiasm for Obama was sky high. And I understand why it was so low for Hillary...not at the time but in hindsight.

I don't see enthusiasm for Biden. Sure people may say they are going to vote against Trump but voting against someone historically usually doesn't work out very well. Biden needs people to vote for him. I don't see it. People are just not enthusiastic about Biden. You are going to have 10-20% of these people that will just be apathetic and won't take the time out of the day to go to the polls.

At least Trump has an enthusiastic loyal base. That's a good start.

House vote is by the House which the Dems control.

Can you link your theory?

Thanks SirWinston. It was a bit nerve wracking to fly the Trump flags on my truck, but enough is enough and it’s time for the Silent majority to speak up. My wife’s rule is no Trump flags with the kids or her in the vehicle (for their safety), which I’m OK with. But I drove up and down to Michigan separate from them so I was all good to go full MAGA.

Hmm. I learned something today. Thanks. I did not know the state delegation controlled the vote. I though it was the representatives.

It’s not a theory, it’s in the Constitution pertaining to how President gets elected in event of EC tie. Each state House delegation gets one vote. So CA gets one vote, MT gets one vote, etc. Libs being concentrated in fewer, more populous states works to their disadvantage.

Look your right about enthusiasm for Obama but 293k voters that's a frick ton and that can obviously sway an election.

Trump definitely has the enthusiasm edge over Biden however he has the same enthusiasm gap inpeople that are anti trump. Just 5% of that 293k that sat out vote anti trump and Michigan is Blue again.

You're analysis of PA was spot on because it was the only state of the 3 that didn't have a slide in vote totals from 2012 to 2016. Compared to Michigan and Wisconsin.

Michigan resident here. I without a doubt live in a Republican bubble, but I will be shocked if Trump doesn't carry the state.

The best thing to happen for Trump's campaign here in MI is halfwit. I haven't met a single person, Dems included, who approve of her or the DNC's handling of the panny.

And 99% of folks think the rioting that happened here in GR after the amateur porn star got squished by some white guy half his size was disgusting and counter productive at best.

Of course I'm assuming an on-the-level and fair election.

You get outside of Detroit, Flint and Lansing and you are basically hanging with baws.

I'd flip Lansing with Saginaw (my sad hometown). Anywhere north of the central LP and the southern baws would love it... even most places below that. Northern Michigan and the UP... it's an anything goes type attitude with beautiful forestry, they sure do love to drink beer, hunt and hang out at the lake.
