Yeah I suppose he could've just tossed it from the top of the building, hopped down and ran around and retrieved it but that's not what we see on the footage releases thus far

No we are not suppose to believe that. Nobody disassembles that type of rifle after murdering someone when trying to make a quick exit.

It is slightly more complicated. I have zoomed in and watch the video a million times. The one time I watched it he did not appear to be carrying a rifle. But knowing that the video isn't clear I could easily be mistaken. So it would be really cool if someone from LEO could clarify exactly how the rifle got there.

I assume that he dumped it there and I didn't notice it the first time I watched the video of him leaving the buildings roof. Maybe he threw it down before the video I saw started. IDK. Probably had it slug over his back or chest.

Often with crap like this the perp has a plan. As the recoil of the gun goes off their plan sort of goes out the window as panic sets in that this is not a game and the shite they did really just hits them like a ton of bricks.

Then they do stupid shite and the defense gets them off for a crime because "nobody is stupid enough to do X in that situation. When in fact crimials do stupid shite all the time that is how they get caught.

Like telling his parents he did it instead of fleeing to Mexico or where ever. Pretty damn dumb.

I don’t check rooftops for shooters because I don’t expect people to be shooting me.
