You do know that the store that was robbed has been torched right?

The funny thing is recall the media making a big deal out of the police not questioning him yet.
If they didn't try to question him, that was a big deal.

My guess he was hiding and I bet he lawyered up and got immunity for the robbery prior to speaking with the police.
Pretty smart.

Who didnt expect this type of response in general to the news today? Its the old step down the ladder slowly from ones soapbox routine.

The robbery is secondary to the murder charge he could be looking at. Causing the death of another in the commission of a felony.

It takes time to get surveillance footage especially when the entire area is getting overrun with violent looters.
I think they just got it on Wednesday night, which was when the scene of the robbery was investigated on site. So the police had the tape for one day before being released to the public.
Also as far as not releasing other types of information (autopsy report, dispatch tapes, etc.,), this may have to do with the FBI getting involved (which I think occurred on Monday the 11th)) and wanting to review the information before being released to the public.

Guess that would be me.
I had no idea people were arguing that he was running from the cop and the cop was justified in shooting him in the back once it was known he had been involved in previous robbery.
I cannot imagine it is legal to shoot someone running from cops, but I should get used to not being surprised with the laws in this country.
Either way, after learning of the legal justification for shooting a fleeing robbery suspect, I understand how him being a robber suspect would be relevant to the cop shooting him, if he was shot while fleeing.

No, I dont believe its the same store.
ETA: I dont think its the Quick Trip judging from reading the police report. Dont know if its another store than was also looted etc.

If true, I'd look into the violent rioting being started in order to cover up a crime.

Stop focusing on that statement and just call it possible retribution for killing his buddy.
You didn't say that, you've just adjusted your argument since the other was an obvious fail.
quote:
Would you take this guys statement as "fact" considering these circumstances?
I don't take any of the statements from either side as "fact" so far. The only facts not in dispute are an unarmed guy is dead and he was shot by the cops.

I mean if it's a violent criminal, I wouldn't say it isn't justified. Especially if he was fighting with the cop. Assuming this wasn't typical behavior by him, I wonder if he was on drugs?

Yeah looked at the police report for the robbery and the numerics have been redacted.
