Do you agree that the relevant facts to the lethal shooting has to do with whether or not the officer had reason to feel he was in danger.
What about him being a danger to the public?

I put quotes around that because, if he was indeed the second robber with Brown, the reason he's lying and changing his story so much is to save his own arse.
The funny thing is recall the media making a big deal out of the police not questioning him yet. My guess he was hiding and I bet he lawyered up and got immunity for the robbery prior to speaking with the police.

So you are saying you don't want to understand. You agree and then you don't agree all in the same sentence.
Not sure what you are referring to.
When I comment on what someone says, I usually quote their comment in my post.

TN v Garner puts the danger to society as the metric not the danger to an officer. Robbery is a crime against a person. People that engage in it are a danger to society.

To everyone: let's just wait to see what all comes out. Hell just the info released in last 24 hrs has made many look like fools. But the full picture still has not be painted. So open your minds and just go with all the facts that we KNOW to be true. And one is a tragic event occurred that will effect the families of two young men. Both reportedly good men. Let's find out what happen, and afterwards try and let this community heel. Peace!

It DOES change things man. A felony robbery suspect who tried to disarm a police officer was shot fleeing because the officer thought he was a further danger to the public if he was willing to go as afar as to disarm a police officer to get away.
I concede, that if that is the law, and that is what happened, then it is relevant.
Otherwise it is not relevant.

I guess the only thing that would matter is if Brown had his arms up giving himself up to the police prior to the shots that killed him. If he was running away the cop was still legally justified.

Totally would change the scenario. If I engage a robbery suspect they get proned out and cuffed (detained), then patted down for weapons, then sat down and investigated.
Steps 1 and 2 are for my safety and theirs. If I develope pc the cuffs stay on. Nothing above reasonable suspicion, then they come off. Simple really.

Where is the tape of the call?
So because they havent released it it never happened? Jesus what is with people and logical fallacies.

So because they havent released it it never happened?
Really?
Seriously?
And you have the unmitigated gall to raise specter of "logical fallacies?"

It takes time to get surveillance footage especially when the entire area is getting overrun with violent looters.

It was a logical fallacy. The appeal to ignorance to be exact.
You can throw up all the protest you want but the fact remains that you made 4 distinct statements as fact in the original post that I responded to and when called to provide anything at all as a citation you have come up with nothing.

Once again, the lunatic left is starting to look like the gullible fools that they are.
Will it be reported that way? Of course not.

Released by the Ferguson Police today:
Police Report of Robbery, 911 call of robbery etc.
You can apologize whenever.

quote:With all of the resources they had available this should have been cleared up by the next day. Yet even in the press conference today, 6 days later, the chief didn't even say that Brown was involved in the robbery. He just handed out the press packets and referred to "a robbery".
The way everything unfolded, I would have held back on the tape even longer, unless they have more evidence than just a tape (which they have not shared). I don't know and nobody but the three of them know exactly what happened and why. I will not speculate.
Even for the family of the suspect or the families of every police office in town LE should have gotten to the bottom of things as quickly as possible. Lord knows that town is going to get an OT bill as if every officer was working around the clock.
