Michael Bennett Lying? What will the media say?

Apparently, his story is falling apart, and he was not just an innocent bystander.
MB Lying?
The video in this link shows the police doing their job and there were literally hundreds of black people in the casino that they were trying to safely escort out of the building. In fact, the majority of the people in the video appeared to be black. However, after they cleared the building, the police saw Michael Bennett hiding behind a slot machine. Once he saw the police, he took off running and ignored their shouted commands to stop.
The video showed that there was never a threat to "Blow your head off".
Will this be enough to stop the media from portraying this as another example of the racist police force abusing their power and singling out black people for arrest?
I'm guessing that Michael Bennett will defend his actions by saying that he, as a black man has an ingrained fear of the police and felt that he would be in danger if he let himself be taken into custody.
As for the media, I believe they will bring on enough psychologists, civil rights lawyers, and rabble rousers to muddy the waters enough to where they will eventually conclude that the police were racist, anyway - even if this incident isn't a clear cut example of it. Six months down the road, they will be referring to this incident as proof of institutional racism, because by then, they know that everyone will have forgotten all of the actual details of what went down - much like with Michael Brown in Ferguson.

Near the end of the video you can see Michael Bennett, crouching behind a slot machine inside the casino, appearing to hide from police. When the police approached him because he appeared suspicious hiding there, he jumped up and ran away from them, refusing commands to stop, leaping a wall, and attempting to escape from them before being caught and detained.

Hopefully Jim Rome says sorry for trying to lecture me on why I should listen or care about Bennett today.

I think he just announced he was writing a book on his activism a mere 2 days before his "incident"
The bodycam video from cop that detained him will be the deciding evidence.
I'll make a prediction - the video will show just enough truth that his blatant exaggerations and lies will be swept under the rug and we'll be hearing "well, we still need to have the conversation". It will occasionally be referenced in the same way "hands up, don't shoot" is still referenced - a blatant lie that people are willing to accept as truth.

Just like Lebron getting his home vandalized. This shite will just disappear and the left will keep on keepin on.

Exactly.
Clay Travis was pretty much the only sports guy that called out that bullshite story too. It's purely coincidence that there is no surveillance video of the incident, right?

The cut it off after you only see about 3 more seconds of the arrest. Clearly the officer filming it collapsed due to exhaustion as he could barely keep up the entire time.
Why don't the show the body cam footage from the arresting officers or several officers who were closer to what happened?

He has a gun pointed at him, but not "to his head".
Those are the very liberties he's taken with the truth that he'll be allowed to get away with.

It's quite obviously a tazer.

this is how the left and the media operates in today's world.... you put the false story out, it gets a ton of hype, attention, retweets, etc. Eventually the truth comes out under the radar, and maybe even a half hearted revision, retraction, or apology is given but the damage and spread of the false story is already done. mission accomplished.

I like how his lawyer said his detention had nothing to do with his race but he was still filing a civil rights lawsuit

It's all about the conversation.
