Most people here are from White middle class living in the South. Now if their daughter gets knocked up by their cousin, yard man, etc they will get her an abortion pill in 30 minutes or less but that’s always been that way.
Don’t think too poorly of them, it’s not their fault, it’s just the way it’s always been.

How is returning the power to the states as intended government overreach? Roe was the government overreach part of the equation.
After thinking about it for a while, I realized that he was right. Even murder is a "right" in a sense, a freedom that must necessarily be taken away via law.
So from that point of view, a federal level block against states banning things is not overreach, but instead a protection on individual liberty. Just like the other rights "granted" in the constitution, they are safeguards against states limiting the freedoms of the people.
Roe served the same function, it was protection against overreach. And now states are free to further limit the rights of the people.

My issue is it returns power to the states.
