Protecting innocent human life has historically been a pretty important aspect of man.

Not only that. Go take a look through history and see what happens in cultures and societies that devalue human life. It’s some of the most horrific shite in human history.

Should I be allowed to kill you tomorrow without consequences? I don’t think people that are pro abortion actually know the process. I’m not religious but I believe in god and the gift of life.

So you're cool with murder. Got it.

Not much to say then.

McConnell has already mentioned working on a national abortion ban. So is it really a states rights issue?

You're not insinuating that Turkey Neck is a conservative, are you?

Most people here are from White middle class living in the South. Now if their daughter gets knocked up by their cousin, yard man, etc they will get her an abortion pill in 30 minutes or less but that’s always been that way.

Don’t think too poorly of them, it’s not their fault, it’s just the way it’s always been.

How is returning the power to the states as intended government overreach? Roe was the government overreach part of the equation.

SlowFlowPro once told me (and I'm paraphrasing) that no government or law can grant us a right. Instead, our natural state is total freedom and liberty, and a law can only remove or limit rights (or return a right that a prior law removed).

After thinking about it for a while, I realized that he was right. Even murder is a "right" in a sense, a freedom that must necessarily be taken away via law.

So from that point of view, a federal level block against states banning things is not overreach, but instead a protection on individual liberty. Just like the other rights "granted" in the constitution, they are safeguards against states limiting the freedoms of the people.

Roe served the same function, it was protection against overreach. And now states are free to further limit the rights of the people.

My issue is it returns power to the states.
This is a state issue.

Then it will be hard for planned parenthood to receive federal funding in some states which funnels back to Washington D.C.

So true, media and Dems, including Potus*, have been on a lying roll since decision came out.

Funny how the same folks who push this nonsense will be the first to blame 'society' for the actions of an individual who commits a crime or claim the plight of the homeless is in ALL of us.

Can't have it both ways. You can't play the collective responsibility card for some things but not others.

Are individuals NEVER to be held accountable for their own actions?

Okay...

So, property owners can only vote for property taxes?

People not on the government dole should be the only ones who vote in elections?

Weak men like you who avoid responsibility and promote avoiding responsibility are the reason our society is falling apart

Are you ok with there being a law to criminalize murder? Because if you do, then you must love government intervention…
