Damn. A lot of us had this essentially figured out the day Trump sent out his wiretap Tweet. Go check out the thread after today cools down ( you started it I think ) and it’s highly entertaining .

you think the judge shouldn't know how the document originated? imagine what police could do against anyone under this scenario
So to me, if poor and highly questionable information can so easily pass through the process, then that's a major problem regardless of who obtained it.
So that tells me that the validity of the information isn't scrutinized so if poor and highly questionable information can get approval, then that doesn't somehow seem any better just because that poor work was done by law enforcement.
And if law enforcement is presenting it to the court, then whatever bias exists, must also exist in the person presenting it, or they're must too incompetent to be presenting it in the first place.

Not really. They were pulled from within the ranks of the organizations.
There is a natural bias to protect your own group. It is why independent oversight is important.
In fact, it is the reason Special Counsels are ever appointed

What we are witnessing is tribal warfare where each side will do or say anything to discredit the other side.
The fact that 3 of the 4 people pushing back against Trump were appointed by Trump speaks volumes.
Well, if they broke the rules and have spent the last 1.5 years trying to find a boogieman based on lies and corruption, then yeah, he's going down.
Thats how rules work. Thats how Justice works.
Youre just ignoring the huge elephant in the room to focus on your delusion.

This was and still is a clear attempt to out a sitting president with lying and cheating and manipulating public trust and opinion, as well as, total abuse of the legal system they are entrusted to protect.

You mean like coordinating leaks to the media and using said media reports and a fake document created for the DNC to obtain FISA warrants?
Or using FISA as cover to spy on a private citizen?
To which are you referring?

Judges rely on affidavits, and the understanding that people who are professionals who might choose to falsify them can go to jail for doing so. This is the procedure in which subpoenas have been issued for decades.
The recourse is, the people responsible for falsifying such information must go to jail.
It's a pretty simple process and has worked well for most of our time as a nation (and in our states).

I guess we shall see how this plays out.
But we are now engaging in open warfare in Washington. When all of your law enforcement types (including the ones you appointed) advising you against doing a thing. And you do it anyway. There are going to be far reaching consequences that neither tribe counts on.
This is about to get fun.

Dimwits need to indicate at the beginning that link will be updated rather than anchoring and having people scurrying around trying to provide a link for everyone.
