I don't like it...but what are you going to do? You cannot ban a certain religious group from moving near each other. Unfortunately this is no different than Mormons in Utah, Hasidic jews in New York, somolians in Minnesota, the Amish in Pennsylvania/Ohio, the Baptist covering the south.
What specifically do you want Abbott to do?
The state hopefully has ways to limit the enforcement of Sharia Law but what legal mechanism are you going to implement to say you cannot move here? Please, enlighten all of us!

She was born and raised in California and is as much a citizen as you and I. Can a Jewish guy from Brooklyn not get a job in Texas either?
