It kinda reminds me of this fable-
Scorpion, being a poor swimmer, asked a Frog to carry him across a river on his back.
"How do I know you won't sting me?" asked the Frog.
"Because," replied the Scorpion, "if I sting you while you're swimming, I shall die too, for I cannot swim."
The Frog thought this over and decided it made sense. So he agreed, and the Scorpion climbed onto his back. Together they set off across the river.

"You fool!" croaked the Frog. "Now we shall both die! Why did you sting me?"

Some natures cannot change, no matter what reason demands.

Elkarrekin? More like "El-Karen". The Elkarrekin Podemos are what we would consider a far-Left coalition of Leftist groups, they focus especially on social issues and fighting "inequality." I imagine the therapy she's undergoing is on how to get her home back while not feeling she's contributing to inequality.
