They are trying to redefine absolute reality. It is an assault on the language and how things are defined.

The similarity to the Red Guard struck me quickly too. Truly, those who refuse to learn history are condemned to repeat it. WDE.

The state ultimately raised them. The power brokers convinced mom that she could have a career and a family and anything else she dreamed of and that she would be doing a disservice to herself as a woman if she didn't put her wants and desires above all else. Couple that with the legalization of no-fault divorce, and you've got a generation of kids meandering through a broken home life with no moral foundation to build on.

So they got absorbed by the public school/daycare system and learned to appreciate its structure (something the had been missing their whole lives). And with that structure, trust was built. And with that trust in hand, the institutions began molding these young minds to believe ridiculous things.

And here we are.

I would read "The God's of the Copybook Headings" by Rudyard Kipling

And then we seriously need to ask ourselves and begin having serious talks about what we do next, individually. No one will save us. No one will save these young adults. So how do we start saving ourselves?

My two children have turned out perfectly normal and repulsed by crap like what’s in this OP but you’re correct. I’m fricking ashamed of the overall performance of my generation as parents. It’s utterly pathetic what they’ve unleashed on the country.

This. As someone who is in the medical field, this. The medical field is tough, as it should be. People’s lives are in our hands. Decisions are made based on facts and data, not the feelings of an SJW. There is no place for this in this field.

Good point! Couple that with the societal pressure to keep up with the Joneses, and it became almost mandatory for both parents to work. The “American Dream” was unattainable for most one income families.

Just like the Red Guards.

Maybe these new zealots should read about what Mao did with the Red Guards once their usefulness was expended, including their leader, Mao's widow.

You are right sir!

But the time-out kids extend up to at least 30 YO today.

Generation X parents spent too much time drinking and swinging with other generation X parents during travel ball road trips instead of raising their children.

Instagram did. Gen X lack of parenting is who really created this mess.

The only thing that keeps me from getting too worried about this stuff is that if someone is not mentally tough enough to handle the stress and everything else that goes along with medical school. Snowflakes like that will not be able to handle 80 hours per week in a hospital and having to study for boards and the harsh reality slap in the face that comes during clinical rotations.

Med schools have always softened words. Moron, Imbecile, Idiot and Retarded were scientific terms used in medical text books.

The real problem is that this group of students will soon be consulting patients with some effed up knowledge base

Didn't work. Intellectually disabled is quickly replacing retarded in insults.

The doctors and professors are at fault.

When someone complained about a doctor using the term “Pregnant Woman” because it implies only women can get pregnant the doctor apologized.

He should have told them to frick off.
