Wow. If she was on the phone the whole time as her car sank, that would rule out foul play.

Unless somebody was hacked into it.
How close was she to the pond when she started reversing?
Was there a burm to go over?
Seems like there is plenty of room to figure out your mistake no matter how drunk you are.

I believe in a conventional car the car windows are connected directly to the battery and operated via DC. They can be operated in the water. I suspect on an EV it is all through the computer and may not be direct linked to the battery.

Lets dont forget the suspicious timing of this when 1 month earlier Jim Breyer, her husband, announced that his investment firm Breyer Capital was pulling all investments out of China for 18 months.

You have to be incredibly shite-faced to not have your instinct to survive kick in. Not to mention the people she called were supposedly no further than 1-3 minutes away and they all just let her die?

They can report whatever they want. None of this makes any logical sense.

One of the pleasures of EVs. Batteries on floor of car and first to submerge. You get locked in tight. Throw in some bullet proof glass and off you go.

agreed. especially when her husband literally announced he was suspending business with the CCP for 18 mos.

some people panic naturally. I was in an emergent situ a few months ago and the people still comment on how calm I was.

this may be a bunch of overly educated overly pampered women afraid of water with no common sense.

how deep was this pond? the women just screaming while they could have hammered out a window as she was talking for 8 minutes above water---- is astounding. I don't care how dumb, spoiled they are.

The lady drowned and they are blaming her.

She was drunk and backed her car into a lake. Who should we blame? Trump?

I can't understand how the ranch hand or anybody could get a 5lb mall and metal rod to bust the side glass out.

You ever swing a 5lb mall underwater?

You ever run around a ranch and find a 5lb mall in 8 minutes?

Especially in the middle of the night, when the ranch hands have all gone home for the night (they live miles away off property). The rich folks who own the property and their rich guests probably don't even know what tools are there or where.

90% of all women would drown in the same scenario.

I imagine they looked like this...

New hair and nails prevented any chance of physical help as well.

So in 8 minutes she couldn’t figure out how to roll down a window and climb out of a slowly sinking car?

someone should tell him how electric shite doesnt work when the battery is wet

she was literally and figuratively locked in her car and unable to open the electric doors

Moments later, she frantically called her friends

It's too bad she didn't call one of the men who worked there. Probably never occurred to her that strength and tools could have saved her life.
