While some pundits have chastised the Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B song, "WAP," Rep. Maxine Waters is praising the performance, describing it as a symbol of empowerment for women. The congresswoman expressed her thoughts on the song during an online chat with Megan, hosted by Harper's Bazaar. Contradicting some commentators who view the hit single as nothing more than a sexually explicit production, Waters applauded the artists for their courage. "Now that's audacity," Waters said. "That is audacity." The congresswoman then noted "WAP" as another one of her favorite songs from today's era. Praising the controversial hit, Waters said the performance is an example of women taking charge. "Women didn't say for a long time what they could say or wanted to say," she said. "So I thought that's audacity."

Maxine used to be a millennial, ya know.
She’s jiggly with the hip kiddos, yo.
* What POSSIBLE reason would you vote down this post?? She literally said she was once a millennial!!

Megan Thee Stallion and Maxine Tha Dumbass
Y'all ever notice that there can only be one popular black female rapper extremely active at a time?
It was nikki.... she was everywhere, on every other song, providing very generic sexually charged lyrics. Then once cardi b came out, nikki was gradually pushed back, and then cardi was on every other song, providing very generic sexually charged lyrics.

Not only is this not female empowerment, it's terrible music. I just don't see how it requires any talent to make this song. The video, on the other hand..........

Maybe one day Cardi B can do some porn so that we can all see that WAP in action.
