IDK what's gonna happen, but I know Trump paid the price for playing too nice in his first term. Too naive, IDK, but he's really got no choice but to salt the Earth and go forward with his agenda, the best he can. The GOPe won't ever support him, so he might as well do more than merely reshuffle the chairs on the deck of the ship. Toss everything off and threaten to scuttle the damn thing, if need be. That's more his style any way.
