The wider context, literally directly before what you just quoted, is that the Bible introduces the nephilim and sets up the "wickedness" of man. We know that they are uniquely wicked and terrifying too because later on, after the flood (which they survived by the way), Moses was looking for land to settle and his spies found good land, but came back to him reporting that the nephilim were there and they were like grasshoppers before them. Rather than trying to settle there, they instead chose to continue wandering the wilderness for a very long time. They didn't want shite to do with those people.

The thing is though, it's not "VERY SECRET." And I'm not claiming that these programs definitely exist, but these claims have been in the literature for decades now. They're called MILABS (short for military abductions). The evidence for them is, of course, mostly anecdotal, but there have been books written on this subject drawing from the related "abduction testimonies" of many abduction victims. It's not always reported as a solely alien thing. Often times people report being abducted by both aliens and the military either together or one at a time.
There are enough claims of this stuff out there that at least 2 books have been written on this subject. So no, it's not really "very secret", if it is happening. Just not admitted to, for obvious reasons.

See, I don't think so. And biblical scholars are split on this too. They don't all agree that the "sons of God" are fallen angels and instead prefer a human interpretation. I'm saying they were something near human, but not human.

I think this question is just part of the reason why this stuff is the most closely guarded secret on earth. The implications for our society are profound.
