If there are "aliens" currently on planet earth I'm 99.99999999999999999% sure they did not physically travel through interstellar space to arrive here. The energy required to achieve near light speed travel is incomprehensible to the average person. I've watch quite a few podcasts on the near impossibility of interstellar travel and it's really sobering to understand how improbable it is to believe any advanced civilization has figured out how to crack the barrier of E=mc2. The only way advance civilizations are traversing the universe is through some unknown method of jumping through different realms/dimensions and somehow arriving in the desired location in the universe.

Right. But our knowledge of quantum physics is still in its infancy. There hasn't been much progress in this area in like 90 years. What you need is to be able to harness and utilize matter with negative energy density in order to create a warp drive system. And the casimir effect has been observed to do this, but the reaction is miniscule compared to what you would need to move a starship through space-time.
Theoretically it can be done though, and the underpinnings for the physics needed can be seen in the observable universe. It would be a matter of figuring out how to scale it up. Who knows what a hypothetical alien civilization even 1,000 years more advanced than us has figured out.
Then you've also got the word of so-called "whistleblowers" who say that private companies like Lockheed and Boeing have already achieved this with their skunk works programs. So who the hell knows what to believe.
But yeah, if they're travelling from other star systems they probably use something like literal star gates. Because once you have developed the tech to create a warp drive, you also have the ability to create a wormhole.

Species from another planet have zero chance of breeding with humans are any other animal on this planet and having viable offspring. Sort of part of the definition of what a species is.
IF they can have sex and produce offspring with us then they originated here or we originated there.

Exactly.
Although I would say that the Sumerian Eridu Genesis text talks about a long-lasting attempt at creating us that resulted in many errors before they finally created Adamu, the first man. And when you look at our own known history, there were indeed many subspecies we coexisted with at one time.
It's either that we come from the same place as they do, or they undertook an advanced genetic engineering project that slowly but surely created almost from scratch a species (us) that was compatible with them by splicing their own DNA and combining it with the DNA of existing primates here on earth in a literal genetics lab.
I mean, given enough time and genetic engineering knowledge you could cross a marijuana plant with an oak tree and produce an oak tree that produces marijuana flower. That was pollinated by other, regular marijuana plants.

Yeah, I feel like it's one or the other. And there is anecdotal evidence to support both. I hope I've done a decent job at laying out both sides here.
1. You can see potential textual evidence of near humans from here on Earth that mated with early humans and created giant offspring through the process or heterosis.
Or 2. You have actual off worlders from another planet who literally created us through genetic engineering through a generations-long process of trial and error.
If feel like both ideas are potentially evidenced in our ancient texts. But the one thing I'm quite sure of is that there was a precursor civilization on earth and really the rest is just getting into the weeds. We literally see evidence of this all across the world (the precursor civilization) but for whatever reason collectively refuse to recognize it. And since that precursor civilization was definitely there, it doesn't make any sense to call them aliens. Because either way they were here before we were.

We’re a species with amnesia, but it’s impossible to affirm whether that’s intentionally self-imposed or genetically engineered into our psyche? For a species that has such an inextinguishable fire to push the envelope, we have absolutely no clue as to why or who we are?
