I would listen to what he has to say, but I don’t listen to men that put gel in their hair.

Gaetz is holding a losing hand. And, he knows it.

He’s just unwilling to go along with the performance that is the GOPe. He believes that it’s better to expose these guys.

He’s fighting the fight that matters. We have to remove the McCarthy types from the party.

It’s so funny to me to see people attack Gaetz for not being powerful enough to overcome the uniparty while pretending to oppose the uniparty.

Are you gonna go jerk off in the corner with your tears if he files it?

Comes across as a narcissistic fraternity president. I don’t see how anyone can fully get behind any of these clowns in DC; almost all of them are in it for themselves - to varying degrees.

Seems hard to determine who’s who in this particular scenario.

If that's the case, why aren't other people saying it and acting along similar lines of "what people want to hear"?

They see themselves as having a future.

Gatez's future was kneecapped by an unfair scandal, but he's capped.

The people here who attack Gaetz don’t want spending cuts. They want party centric rule.

I want spending cuts.

Gaetz's theater marginalizes that effort.

But it has a lot of muh fight so certain people love it.

By exposing yourself as a minority splinter group with no power and ultimately losing? How does that work?

Because his methods taint what few good policies he wants to promote, making them less likely to be implemented.

A rousing success if you actually want these policies and understand what it will take to enact them.

That’s something I watch and wonder about. Gaetz and the others are 10% of the House Republicans. They don’t actually wield any power on their own. How does the 90% go about handling them and how much consideration do they give their ideas before telling them to frick off? It’s a fine line that has to be toed. On a party line vote the establishment has to have Gaetz and company and vice versa.

Who is the guy that pushed McCarthy over the finish line last January?

Shouldn't you be a McCarthy fan?

What are other people in Congress doing that you see as more effective in moving toward "spending cuts"?

He just barked? He said he was going to file a motion to oust the Speakership, unless concessions were made.

We seem to have a majority of members in the House who are either corrupt or want to be corrupt. These are people who don't have to worry about the alphabet agencies coming after them because they play ball.

These are the people who won't mention the bogus charges against Donald Trump. They won't talk about over prosecuting the J6 marchers. They won't complain about BLM or Antifa riots and looting.

What they WILL do is complain about government spending in public while voting for increased deficit spending in private. They will complain about our border being overrun while on the campaign trail, but vote against funding the wall in private. These people will complain about the abuse of EOs by the executive branch on the Sunday talk shows, but never do a damn thing about it when they have the chance. They shout out that Biden is corrupt, but won't vote for impeachment.

At least Gaetz is trying, unlike most of these Jabronis on the right side of the aisle. Why should these hypocrites do anything? All they have to do is say, "Illegals", "Trans", "Universal Healthcare", or "Abortion", and half their voting base will have a coronary and vote for them. They don't have to DO ANYTHING to earn that vote.

I dont think hes a fraud, hes just not effective or influential in the politcal war fare realm. His politics can be on point, but he can be to easy to create a counter narrative against.

Looking at the interwebs it seems Gaetz is demanding that McCarthy explain the secret deal with Democrats before he files the motion to vacate. I'm guessing he wants McCarthy to bury himself further before votes get cast.

Did he vote for the omnibuses that trump signed?

Or the covid stimulus that started the inflation?

I honestly don’t know, but if he did he is definitely a fraud.

LOL what do you mean? McCarthy was fully backed by Trump who wanted him in with no conditions. Do you not remember just a few months ago???

Anybody that would support Trump after he is STILL getting it dead wrong deserves Kevin McCarthy. Idiots.
