How does this not apply to the 215 who just voted against Republican principles (states rights)?
The real sad part is… Scott Pressler showed everyone how it’s done correctly. But few learned a damn thing.

We have a whole entire voting rights act thanks in part to states hiding behind states rights to promote policies and practices that prevented certain people from legally voting. Please spare us this trite argument that voter ID should be left completely up to the states because it is a state right. When states fail to act in a manner that protects the rights of the citizens of this country (turning a blind eye to non citizen voting) the federal government has an obligation and a right to step in and secure those rights. You trample on my rights when you allow a state like California to issue ID’s to illegals and automatically register them to vote and take zero measures to ensure illegals in your state aren’t casting votes in federal elections. STFU with states rights. It’s our right to vote, not Miguel’s and his 3 dozen other illegal family members from Guatemala

Sometimes those principles screw us.
John McCain would be so proud!

Are federal taxes an erosion of states rights?
No. Taxation has never been seen as a governmetn power exclusive to states or the feds. It's always been an example of our duel sovereign federal system with concurrent/overlapping powers, like the police power.
Completely different history and Constitutional basis than domain over elections.

do you personally believe a state should allow illegals to vote in federal elections? A
I already told you it's illegal. There is not a system that can prevent fraud, of any sort, at 100%. Fraudsters always have the advantage b/c they're willing to be dishonest.

Correct. There aren’t 60 votes for cloture.

1. There is a specific set of Constitutional Amendments modifying our Constitution to get that power that doesn't exist here
2. The GOP has opposed those policies for decades, proving my point.

All you're doing is giving a justification for being a RINO/hypocrite

Doesn't that make those "fighting fire with fire" the RINOs?

What an absolute piece of shite. frick that guy.

Literally the reasoning of RINOs who abandon principle for convenience or popularity.

Nowhere did I say or imply any of that. Stay on topic.

Just because you don't say it doesn't mean you don't imply it.

Again, we know how to fix this. (and it needs to be fixed!) But no one wants to go out and do it in their local districts, and get it done. They want to sit on the couch and hope someone in Washington DC does it for them.

Cool, but I haven't implied it.
I'm focused on the "RINO" label being potentially misused, exclusively.

Criminals do have rights. Some of our amendments in the BOR specifically address those rights
Why do you hate American values and the principles of our founders?
