My point stands.

Doesn't that make those "fighting fire with fire" the RINOs?

if there is no set of principles to define a "Republican", how can anyone either be a Republican or RINO? How do you distinguish between the 2 labels?

All the OP did was use the RINO label out of frustration over Massie's vote on this measure. It's not that complicated.

Collins is in the Senate, not the House. (Unless you are thinking of another Collins in the House I'm not familiar with).

He voted against the procedural rule advancing it because it included language that would block or delay congressional votes on repealing Trump's emergency tariffs (which he doesn't have the Constitutional authority to implement).

ETA: He would have voted for the SAVE Act alone...

You are welcome to use whatever labels you want and need to get that cathartic release.

How does this not apply to the 215 who just voted against Republican principles (states rights)?

This is an incredibly small minded thought process to this.

So let me ask you, is every single federal action "against states rights"?

This didn't erode states rights, no moreso than federal government erodes states rights when we are taxed.

You, personally, do you believe a state should allow illegals to vote in federal elections?

No. This is a particular area where states exert dominion.

What?

Taxing the governments?

That's already illegal.

I should follow this standard but I'm guilty of it.

I don’t know why you need more proof that Massey is a democrat. He knows that people who vote without ID help Democrats win elections.

You're just giving reasons on why being a RINO is Ok. It's not responding to my question directly.

If you want to justify why being a RINO/hypocrite is OK, that's fine, but it simply doesn't address my question.

At this point it's in the pantheon of nonsense words like racism, lawfare, globalism/st, etc.

Are federal taxes an erosion of states rights? Meaning, should fedgov be allowed to tax a state, if a state decides it's people will not be subject to fed taxes?

quote:

That's already illegal.

and yet, it happens. Because liberal states provide no oversight to their elections for 1 specific reason. To defraud state and federal elections.

So, again, i ask you, do you personally believe a state should allow illegals to vote in federal elections? And try not to avoid providing an answer this time.
