Ok.
I'll say this.
If polls are indicating any great outcome to the benefit of the side posting said poll, there should never be a reason to release those positive results/findings to the public because
they're winning and only drawing attention to their good position.
It's pointless behavior...unless...
they are full of shaving cream.

No doubt Massie is just using this as a political stunt and for revenge.
At least you are willing to acknowledge it. Still not sure why you want to focus on Johnson instead if Massie, though.
A few weeks before an election, and this is what Massie chooses to focus on. Do any of his supporters still want to try to tell us that Massie isn't cozying up to the democrats? We could use a good laugh.
The other day when Trump attacked the media, Massie tried to turn it around and attack Trump. Why would he do that? Because he needs the Trump-hating media to keep him relevant once he is out of office. Look for Massie to become the token republican when the media wants to attack Trump under the cover of "bipartisanship."

I don't think there's much mystery about what Massie is doing. It's an unprincipled...even dangerous...stunt for reasons of political advantage and revenge against Hegseth and Trump.
BEFORE the midterms, an impeachment vote wouldn't stand a chance. I was just wondering why Johnson would risk delaying the vote.

Why didn't it cause you think, "Why is Massie doing this now?" You know the answer and you're a fraud.
I have said over and over that this is a political stunt. Massie is doing it now, because he wants to set himself up as the anti-war conservative to run as an America First independent presidential candidate if the Iran War doesn't succeed.
It's also an act of revenge against Hegseth and Trump.
Next stupid criticism???

Massie, fooling libertarians for over a decade.

Haven’t we learned anything from polls?

Thirty-two percent of voters approve of the way Pete Hegseth is handling his job as Secretary of Defense, while 57 percent disapprove, with 11 percent not offering an opinion.
The average voter is a moron.

The question was, politically, why didn't Johnson just allow the House to vote no on Massie's motion? Other than Massie, what other Republican would have voted in favor? It just seems like an unnecessary risk. I was hoping someone would explain Johnson's thinking.
Because it’s a political stunt and it deserves none of the house’s time. Massie can’t be gone soon enough. And you can’t clutch your pearls any harder.

Nah they love him. If you go on most libertarian social media pages you’ll see them and commenters advocating for Massie and Ro Khanna for President and VP. They love that his platform is sticking it to Trump and MAGA. it’s a clown show.

Congress is not in Hegseth China command. Why they think they need to impeach him is just ridiculous. He is an extremely well liked sec war when you look at the rank-and-file.
Further, he’s done a fine job.

Voting records show public support for Massie out of office.

Because Massie is a dem. He always has some nuanced reason he must side with Dems when it counts. He is a loser.

There is zero chance of conviction before or after the election. You asking “questions” is a BS excuse for pumping your anti Trump BS. You aren’t fooling anyone.

When did you become so fact-averse? Yes, it's absolutely a political stunt that should be defeated.
Because of the way Massie introduced it, however, the House MUST devote some time to it within two legislative days of introduction. So, it's going to get some time (even to table it through a majority vote).
The prospects of Massie actually getting an impeachment inquiry of Hegseth were ZERO before the elections. Johnson's move just didn't seem to make sense politically. I was hoping someone could explain it.
Nobody can. OK.

zero chance of winning. He wants you and the Ron/Massie fan boys to send him money.
Not likely to win, but he might get enough votes to throw it to the Democrat. I couldn't support him, because I wouldn't want the risk of having a Democrat president.

Such an idiot.
I wonder if he'd do a yougov poll on himself?
Most honorable people just walk away when they've been beat.

Why is it every day you accuse someone of lying or not having the facts right when you yourself are the biggest hypocrite of doing such? It’s getting old.
