If enough Republican Corynyns or Massies become lame ducks, isn't there a risk that they would vote for impeachment?
Prior to the midterms, Massie is the only Republican who would vote to impeach Hegseth.

I don't give in to what a democrat in Republican's clothes might do. I vote them out. My last Cornyn vote was prior to his TARP vote and his subsequent attempt to marshal the tea party to his favor.

I especially like the 11% “no opinion” recognizing there is basically a 0% chance anything close to 89% of the American public could tell you who Pete Hegseth is, if asked.

Sorry. That's a red herring, I shouldn't have posted a meaningless poll. Polls are notoriously inaccurate and skew against Republicans.
I used Massie's X post just because it caused me to think "Why would Johnson postpone the vote until after midterms?"
