The entry bar for what 25 year olds expect from life keeps moving further and further away.
Perhaps if we didn't let in millions and millions of low-income folk, housing on the entry level would be more obtainable?
Many in my generation and before were raised in relative abject poverty. We are more comfortable now than ever before while social media tells you how better everyone else has it than you.

Why does Mark Kelly assume the person who wrote this note is a "hardworking" young American that did "everything right". Maybe the 25 year old did crappy in college and had average grades, maybe the 25 year old has a degree in gender studies or a BS in Psychology but didn't pursue graduate school therefore leaving that BS degree pointless.
The person who wrote the note is 4 years into their career. What is their career? Do they do the extra things on the job to get noticed for a promotion.
He then criticizes a billionaire with a big stock portfolio, while ignoring how that people don't just become billionaires without some hard work mixed in.

There does seem to be a pattern with these lunatics.
I'm hoping that some of the stunts they've been pulling lately are the result of what their internal polling is showing them.
