Country is collapsing and all of the Leftists focus on the comments of a representative from the party that is out of power.

Now replace Montana with a state with huge population centers.

Entergy of La. Doesn’t do a 1:1 ratio either…you will have a Solar bill for the equipment, plus Entergy bill.

Going to need a link on this as enough stupid comes out of her mouth to find that hard to believe.
Okay, I just looked it up. It was her dad's company, Taylor Commercial and he sold the company to her and her husband. Apparently she was the chief financial officer of Taylor Commercial from 2007 to 2011. After that she ran Cross-Fit gyms then on to being a rep. I think her husband still runs Taylor Commercial.

She said something that technically wasn't correct, even though the premise is still correct. But let's go make a big arse deal
MTG and Biden are poster children for this premise.

Battery storage capacity is enough to run 1.5 minutes currently of the produced electrical grid.

This board is amazing. People defending MTG in droves as if she’s not the biggest idiot ever. Unreal.

I've never seen the wind blow at night since it's dark. So I guess she's right.
You’ve never seen the wind blow at night? Good God, man, where do you live? In New Orleans, and everywhere else I’ve lived, the wind sometimes blows at night. Each time a cold front comes through we get two nights of half a gale, and you’ve NEVER seen that. Lol.

You can't really expect them to talk about Biden or his policies. I'd be embarrassed too.

About half of the energy produced in Montana is from renewable sources,
I didn't look it up but I bet over half of the "renewables" are hydroelectric.

If you do a lease, PPA or Loan then yes. If you buy it, you'll only get credits.

and wind
I'm almost certain they are taking her comment out of context and she absolutely did not say wind wouldn't work at night. She should have simply said wind doesn't work at all.

solar don’t work at night
True.

Explain to me how solar power is supplied at night, when the sun isn't shinning. I'm curious to know the answer and why this is so cringe.

Why? It still gets dark in Montana.

Because then you flip the switch on your windmill.

A lot of that power in Montana is hydro.
Decidedly not wind and solar.

If she limited her comments to her own state, she'd have a point. Did she do that?
Good ole Montana. A place with low population and even lower energy demands that would rely on solar/wind. They have very little use for a/c and they sure as shite ain't staying warm with the wind and solar.
Good example.

Coal-fired power plants provided the largest share of Montana's electricity generation in 2021, accounting for 43% of in-state electricity, followed by hydropower at 41%, wind power at 12%, natural gas at 2% and petroleum coke at nearly 2%.
