And why do you believe they've been at war with us for 50 years?

A MEU is about 2,200 Marines/Sailors. They go out to the Med. Sea and Persian Gulf (and many other places) twice a year.

The better question is why you don’t.

Where was OP panicking exactly?
I tend to think ppl who say this are small and weak. Try to act larger than you are. But have a lot of guns to justify being masculine.

White House heavily considering delta force taking Kharg Island apparently.
Much better than destroying it. No idea why this would somehow get out though

Somebody check in on Lindsay Graham. This might give him a heart attack for all his excitement.

If you want to frick with Iran, why not wait another 9 months until after mid terms. Mortgages rates were coming down, gas prices stabilized. Now you have kicked a hornets nest right before election season for no real reason.
Did it say boots are going into Iran? No, it leads us to believe they are going to protect shipping in the Strait of Hormuz in what form that takes. If the Strait remains closed for 1 month Chuck Schumer will be President.
I would suspect they are going to sterilize the area.

Maybe they care more about Iran gaining a nuclear weapon than midterm elections
Ah yes, the WMDs. My favorite part of that story is the bit where we undermine our own diplomatic agreement, replace it with nothing, launch a pressure campaign, backfires on us, we assassinate Soleimani, and then act like escalation was unavoidable + wax hawkish about “mowing the lawn” once per decade in perpetuity.

Because the Iranians sat down at the negotiating table and said they had enough +60% enriched uranium to make 11 nuclear warheads and had prototypes for ICBMs….it really is not a hard decision to make if you actually care about the country!
I thought the Iranians were full of shite and nothing they ever said could be trusted.

Well isn't that fricking convenient.

Or, my favorite, they commence combat operations while Witkoff and Donny's son in law are in the middle of negotiations with the Iranian delegation.

One of the more baffling decisions just from pure political strategy decisions of all time. If you want to frick with Iran, why not wait another 9 months until after mid terms. Mortgages rates were coming down, gas prices stabilized. Now you have kicked a hornets nest right before election season for no real reason. Truly shocking
The January protests were our catalyst to go in. 9 more months and they would’ve slaughtered a lot more people and would have a lot more enriched uranium, drones, and ballistic missiles.

and just like that you add to the nonsense that keeps Iran going
They don't think they are going to win anything, they just think they can make the U.S. population roll over.
Keep doing your little part.
