It's better it turned out this way. 2020 to 2024 open a lot of people eyes to just how evil leftist and progressives are. They're doing the dirty work for the globalist.

Joe Biden and Obama never did anything like that.

Trump does it all the time. Because he loves America.

I always thought that the POTUS ought to do things like that, maybe even host an annual cookout for the local troops, Old Guard, his security details, Air Force One and Marine One crews, etc. and serve up really good, prime ribeyes and plenty of cold beer. Take care of the men who take care of you.

Trump loves Led Zep - I remember during the campaign when Lara trump started her own podcast she had a segment where her listeners send her questions and one of the questions was about what kind of songs Trump puts on his playlists and she started naming artists and said “Led Zeppelin, oh he loves Led Zepplin”

Shame he/America was fricked out of 2 consecutive terms.

I'm going to disagree with you here.

He was pretty unprepared to deal with the "swamp" the first time around. He got hit in the mouth pretty hard.

'Merica also got a taste of just how ridiculous the left had become with leftist bureaucrats running President Autopen's administration.

He's back and better prepared. The public has come to recognize the leftist, asinine propaganda spewing from mainstream outlets.

Perhaps all of us needed to endure the Biden Administration to move in the right direction.

No. Even though the election was stolen in 2020 we are far better off having Biden in the gap of his second term. I think its a blessing in disguise.

Despite not having the 2 consecutive terms I can definitely agree with this.

The contrast between DJT’s admin and FJB was so stark that it couldn’t help but open the eyes of those who were blinded.

Your post and a couple of others changed my mind. In the long run I can see how the interruption of terms was necessary and made Trump better.

The Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon performing on the South Lawn, at night is not normal…

A Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon performance at night on the White House lawn would be highly symbolic and unusual. Here are some layers of possible significance:

?

1. Tradition and Precision

The Silent Drill Platoon is an elite ceremonial unit known for their flawless, rifle-spinning drill routines performed without verbal commands. Having them perform at the White House—especially at night under lights—underscores discipline, unity, and military professionalism in a way that highlights tradition and solemnity rather than casual entertainment.

?

2. Ceremonial Significance

Performances by military ceremonial units at the White House are typically reserved for:
•State visits (welcoming foreign leaders with honor guards and pageantry),
•National observances (Memorial Day, Veterans Day, July 4th),
•Special presidential events (anniversaries, military tributes, or remembrance ceremonies).

At night, the visual impact would be greater—rifle movements glinting under lights, uniforms stark against the White House backdrop—making the symbolism more theatrical and commemorative.

?

3. Message of Strength and Continuity

Staging the Silent Drill Platoon on the South Lawn projects:
•Military readiness and loyalty to the Commander-in-Chief.
•National unity in a time of crisis, tragedy, or transition.
•Prestige in front of foreign dignitaries or the American public, reinforcing the image of disciplined strength tied to the presidency.

?

4. Uncommon Timing (Night)

Nighttime performances are less common and would likely signal:
•A commemorative vigil or remembrance event.
•A high-profile symbolic gesture (for example, honoring fallen service members or victims of a tragedy).
•A deliberate attempt at visual symbolism, since the White House illuminated at night makes a striking backdrop for national broadcast or historic photographs.

Marines do not wear hats. They wear a cover. They were "Under Arms", wearing a duty belt. While Under Arms you do not remove your cover.
