The question should be... why is the median wealth of a black household only $20,000?

It’s not.

Alright, make your case. Let's hear the argument.

I'd like to hope the poster meant this as the claim/fake crisis of wealth inequality and proposed redistribution is at the heart of nearly issue the country faces. Meaning the problem of fake problems is the problem that needs to be dealt with.

Median is usually a good metric for seeing how average Joe is doing, but since there are so many black folk with criminal records it heavily skews the numbers, it doesn’t show how a middle class, law abiding black person is doing. 1/3 of black men have a felony on their record, trying to compare how they are doing financially to someone without a felony is a bullshite comparison

I'm thinking this is not a serious poster. Just trolling for reactions.

I was told a long time ago..........

you can study hard, be smart, and do well in life.
you can work your arse off and do well in life.
if you can do both....you can rule the world!

if kids were told this, instead of being told that someone else is holding them down, we have no idea what our potential may be.

A white people tax sounds like a great idea for NYC.

Remember like over 10 years ago, you told all us Rebel fans on our board to not suck.

You need to remember that, because you really suck right now.

How so? How is someone having high wealth keeping others from achieving it as well?

Having 1-10 low income willing to work will bring down that median average

Translation: If you're a white person in NYC you are screwed 10 ways to Sunday.

You know what's really crazy? Millions of white people voted for this POS. It was akin to signing your own death warrant.
