I don't think he is grasping the big picture, and not sure if that's by design b/c he's trying to be annoying, or he doesn't know any better. That's a common thing I wonder among that crowd. Liberals hear or read a set of words and spin it to their narrative. They may leave out key words or quotes or other grammar , or rearrange words to change the meaning . I'm not sure if they don't know any better, or it's deliberate, but it's definitely in my opinion behavior of someone losing an argument .
I tend to think the bleeding heart liberals that do stupid things for people based on emotion don't have the common sense to know better.
