figured as much. residential dwelling policies do not cover vandalism or theft on basic policies. most commercial do not cover theft either. maybe malicious mischief, burglary or robbery, but to what extent? there is a reason stores in L.A. were removing inventory and boarding up earlier today. If they had insurance on all that they would not have done it.

Are you sure that I don’t ? Yeah I don’t attach my personhood to anytbing that can be lost in a blink of an eye. I’ve lived a long life, have had bad periods and great periods and the one of the best things I’ve learned is that you have to be able to walk away head held high if you lose it all.
Anytbing I lose csn he recovered. A family member can’t.
So maybe that’s why I don’t understand why people would tie their identity to one thing. It’s sounds disastrous.
And I’m speaking for myself. I can’t put myself in that business owners shoes, and I empathize with anyone that has worked hard and lost it all.

Sorry i was looking while doing something and couldn’t get you a table/graph heavy link and you have to read through all this shite. I do remember reading about the 2015 numbers yesterday that in 2015 there were 100 fatal shootings of black men by black officers. It didn’t give the total deaths that year but I can post a link with the numbers since 2017 to give you an idea of how that compares.
