When I was in high school, that was called a normal American male.

We drove Chevelles, GTXs, Mustangs, and customized vans. We made ample use of those of the back seats, and MD 20/20 was the order of the day. The cars were fast, and the women were slender. Very few lard asses back then.

Now, go in there and ask your mother/grandmother how hard she has been fricked in the backseat.

Sorry about your Honda Civic and Muffy not giving it up until you were 23.

No sympathy for the victim. At that age he had no business out at 11pm without a parent.

But(unfortunately) you can't just shoot these lil fricks for no reason.

For sure. He was also 11 years old and I think 100% of us did retarded shite at 11. Like this exact game.

On the other hand, you also can't shoot a kid in the back.

IDK why you are arguing with me.

I'm not sure I am. Until the post I'm replying to right now it wasn't clear to me what your position was and it still seems a little gray.

When you say this:

I think all parties involved were in the wrong

I'm still not sure we totally agree.

The kids doesn't need to be playing pranks. The parents were negligent in at least one way and probably more. That's true.

But lumping those things in with what this guy did is not an accurate comparison IMO.

What the kid did was pretty normal kid behavior. I did it when I was a kid, I'm sure you did too, I'm sure pretty much everybody here did it at least once.

The kid shouldn't have been out at his age running around at 11 p.m., but I would put that somewhere in the mild to moderate range of parental negligence (if they even knew he was out...the kid could have snuck out, which is also pretty normal kid behavior).

What the killer did was an off the scale, out past Pluto over reaction to the circumstances.

“A witness says someone ran out of that house and was shooting at the kids running down the street, and unfortunately, sadly enough, one of the boys who was 11 years old was shot in the back,” Houston police detective Michael Cass told local CBS affiliate KHOU.

Just stop please. There is no defense for what this moron did and he’s likely a lunatic suffering from paranoia. You give reasonable gun owners a very bad name when you attempt to align idiots like this with rational behavior.

You sound like my son, when I was trying to teach him to drive. Being right when your life is at stake doesn't make you any less dead. Playing games with people you don't know is taking your life in your hands. They did it until they came across a lunatic criminal, and now their mama has to bury them.

Ding dong ditch? Woke term for what we called NK back in the 70s.

Will be interesting to see if this was actually ding dong ditch or the viral kick the front door in challenge.

I can't relate to this stuff. Why is it fun to bother other people? The kids in our neighborhood were very careful not to annoy neighbors. Especially since we liked to cut through their yards playing hide and seek or retrieving overthrown balls. The stay at home moms didn't mind because they knew we respected property. Her clothes hanging to dry on the line were not to be touched. Same with the flowers in her garden.

Blame it on the dimtard scum blue city politicians who create the conditions that lead to this happening.

Or you know the fricking psychopath who chased some kids down the street and killed one of them for knocking on his door. I blame Dem leaders for most things civic related but at some point adults can’t just run around shooting at kids.

Two things can be true at once.
I would advise people not to drive on Friday and Saturday nights because the road is full of drunks. But if they do and they get killed by a drunk that doesn’t make the drunk driver any less of a shithead.

They had some little shits doing this in our neighborhood last night. They came back and did it again, but this time I saw them running through the yard. I opened the door up as he was about to knock and his friends all took off, leaving him there startled. I told him not to come back and stop. It was past 10PM and someone may take it the wrong way and hurt him. Kid looked like he was in JR high.

I don’t think we disagree by much here, but this false equivalence doesn’t help. This particular shithead is probably jacking off to porn in his living room if these kids aren’t out banging on his door at 11 at night. Leave people alone. Some of them are crazy.

Its Texas. Im kinda surprised charges have been brought. In Texas you can use deadly force to protect your personal property at night.

You can't shoot someone in the back who's running away, though. That's being a reckless gunowner.
