Mamdani and his movement wouldn’t have any traction if republicans followed through with anything promised the last election cycle. 
When boomers control the majority of wealth, most of the country is in debt, and younger generations have no stake in the game you get socialism. It’s a good thing republicans focused on another pointless war and no mass deportations.
