If it was known it was a he, this is on her parents, her coach, etc. Grabbing things is a part of wrestling so if you don't think that would be a move he would use then you are naive. If they didn't know, then the other school admin needs to be taken to the shed.
I remember years ago a dad pulled his son from wrestling a girl. I think it was in Iowa. This should have never made it to the mat.
The guy needs to be arrested for assault, and the adults need to be admonished publicly to the extreme.

My son wrestled once against an all-American HS girl wrestler when he was in HS. It was an exhibition tourney and she entered.
He was kinda scared that he’d hurt her until she started putting very good moves on him, then he ended it quickly. Just too much strength on his part.
There are wrestling techniques (that aren’t in the handbook) that are gross and get looked over.
NOT knowing that it is a boy is the issue. If the school knew it - and didn’t tell anyone - they are in deep shite - I would think legally with Title 9 (if it was an all-female tourney or matches) and criminally for the violation of the girl.

Can’t really tell from video.
I am totally against men competing against women especially something as close contact as wrestling. Even if courts somehow rule that it has to be allowed, how is it controversial to at least let a competitor know they will be rolling on the floor being grappled by some one biologically of a different sex?

Well, have been told the same by multiple guys that wrestled in High School and College. I guess consider yourself lucky!
