The infographic you posted leads the viewer to understand that's how many "jabs" to a baby. That's pretty misleading no matter what side of the issue you're on.

How many jabs recommended? Why are you scared to answer?

My brother, he already acknowledged that a few pages ago. You may have gotten confused though, because this is around when you decided to change your argument. No one was denying the total amount of shots.

Yeh, dumbass, it was 17 vaccines

If you want to compare us to Europe it’s 17 vaccines to 11 vaccines, or 72 jabs to 60 jabs

Saying 72 to 11 “jabs or injections” is 100% false comparison .

The title of this thread is even worse The vaccine schedule in no way shape or form went from “72 to 11”

Right. But lets have a 37 page bitch fest over the wording of a tweet.

Maybe these tweets are purposeful... you're right, the merits have flown out the window while we debate terms. It's frustrating.

Accuracy in comparison is the best defense against "flipping out".

Come on dude, people question the merits because it’s presented in such a disingenuous way.

I don’t think it’s too much to ask to have clarity on shite that is as important as this. “72 to 11” is fricking nonsense.

maybe so. MMR is still required.

what's your point?

people have more choice now than they did before in a sound, peer-reviewed schedule that offers flexibility, and jabs no longer required are still covered. The only reason people are melting is because its being done under Trump (who, ironically, is a vaccine lover).

What additional choice do they have they didn’t before?

Also, the argument is the disingenuous nature of the announcement in order to intentionally mislead people. It’s ridiculous and EVERYONE should call it out

I mean... I'm not going to count because I think its stupid but the "european country" referenced is likely Denmark, which recommends almost nothing compared to the US.

But either way, the real story gets lost in all that.

Ironically, the Europeans believe in reducing vaccine requirements because people generally are MORE hesitant when the schedule is overloaded. A key part of the new schedule is allowing people to make more personal decisions with their doctor to hopefully restore public trust in healthcare lost during the pandemic. These should, in many cases, be personal decisions.

But I'll level with you. I already know you want to force me and every parent to do what you think is best, and there's really nothing that can be said on this board that'll change your view. Just know, before you go on a 90 page vaccine crusade, the feelings are very mutual.

I don’t think anyone should be forced to be vaccinated . Should never be govt mandates requiring that of a citizen

I do beleive a private business should be able to have the choice on what it wants of its employees (and the govt should have the same right for its employees/“buisness)

But nobody should ever be forced, and the govt should never be able to force a private business want it requires of its said employees

And if a company wants its employees to be vaccinated and you don’t like it, you should weigh that just as any other requirements the company has

I don't disagree with this. But I also have no issues with government mandates for things like being enrolled in the school system or other government ran organizations. If you want to home school, have at it.

But I'm not sure I agree with having kids completely un vaccinated in the school system.

I'm not arguing, but what did I overcount? From the CDC link it was 20? There's some big words in there so I'll be honest I'm not sure
