This messaging is confusing, but the communication around the whole conflict has been a cluster.
For our country's sake, I'm rooting for a win here by the US which doesn't result in us having thousands of soldiers deployed indefinitely in the area.

If he costs us the Senate and the House, on top of contributing to almost 30% of our debt, causing massive inflation and increases in gas and groceries, and a pointless war, then the Dems can do whatever they want with him. I really don't care. If he fricks up 2026 and 2028 for us then he needs to be purged from the party and given the GWB treatment after 2008.

Well I hate to be the one to say it but it’s already happening. Republicans (also one) are so desperate to win people back they’ve tried to bribe voters with 5k for voting red “lies.” Our legs are weak and shaking we’re desperate, but of course we’re dealing with blackmail now.

I understand wanting to keep the war out of the minds of people and all that before the midterms.
Why would you frame it like this? It's the completely opposite. Draws attention to it, and then admit you're only do it for votes.
It reminds me of Biden reading off the instructions rather than just walking off stage. Trump is reading the instructions instead of just doing them.
