Yes…please share more about how different races are pathetic because they don’t align with your thoughts/words/beliefs on life - should be entertaining for sure

So if someone says the word that hurts your feelings, what do you think is a proper legal response? Ie...if you called a white guy a "white boy" during an argument, and he responds with a word that hurts your feelings, do you have the right to respond violently?
I’m not debating the merit of the word or responses…I’m talking about ppl who refuse to acknowledge why it’s different when WHITE ppl say than when Black ppl do ….

It ain’t my thoughts home slice. I didn’t invent the fake outrage over the word. Enjoy being pathetic.

always some angry white dude who wants to be able to say the word.
It’s very relevant because one LSU student athlete had her life ruined while the student athlete who used it in a derogatory manner on national TV will have no discipline because of his skin color. That’s racial discrimination

No one should care about what weak race baiting racists like you and white guilt cucks think about them for the use of a word. If your feelings get hurt by a word that's your problem.
I’m race baiting bc i think everyone knows why it’s different for WHITE ppl to say the N word ? Bruh you soft man
My feelings aren’t hurt by words but WHITE ppl who use the N word are ignorant or racist…that’s facts

You don’t know what that word means, do ya baw?
Ps. Basing if something is acceptable or not on a persons skin color is racist.
And that, my friend, IS a fact.

Does LSU apply disciplinary rules differently based on a students race?
You are an adult and don’t know the answer to this?

I didn't hear it clearly enough for it to be definitive.
I'm 99% the first word was the B-word. Then, I'm not sure if I'm hearing what is alleged (which is a common 3-word phrase in certain circles, football players included). But, as he backs away, it could also be, "B-word ain't even hurt" or words to that effect.
Either way, I would coach my players to show respect to opponents and to refrain from using profanity such as that during a game. I would be pragmatic. They're representing the university and anything that falls on the university might fall on them. Likewise, I would suggest that their marketability might decrease if they became known for such profanity, 1st Amendment notwithstanding.
That's about where I would leave it. I can't spend every minute of every day with every player. I can't fix 18 years of their prior life in the short time we have.

Its pretty obvious what he said
Black athletes say that phrase a lot. Not the first time I've heard it during a football game.

Damone is a pathological liar. Nothing he says is true, intelligent or relevant. He’s scum

No, intent and context are 2 factors that can lead someone to believe that speech is racist.

I’m only saying…y’all know why it’s inappropriate for WHITE ppl to say it and why y’all are intelligent to determine how a Black person saying it is different
Good luck defining race on this issue. It’s essentially about skin color, right? If the skin color of the speaker is the sole determining factor, then let’s get into Sage Ryan’s white heritage. He may not be as white as Barack Obama, Derek Jeter, or Pat Mahomes, but his mom definitely has some white heritage.
Do we need a black high council that determines who can and can’t use the n-word?

Tell us more about how great your pain is from something that happened before you were born and now get more privileges “to make up for something that never impacted you directly”. Also keep telling us how it’s okay to use something just based off race…..which sounds mighty racist!

Nobody cares to say your dumb arse word
That's the thing. I'm not above an insult...but a racial slur? Really? That's just stupid and lazy.
So I have no interest in saying the word as originally intended, but it chaps my arse that I'm forced to write "the word" or even worse "The N Word" instead of the ACTUAL WORD we're all fricking talking about because some people give it magically properties. It's insane.
It was either last year or this year in a high school English class my youngest son was reading an Ernest Gaines novel in class and they were reading sections out loud. Gaines used "the word" multiple times in the novel so the kids were forced to either reverently pause when they got to it or say some fill in word. This was with ZERO black people in the class. The mere utterance of the word IN CONTEXT and written by a black men for a fricking reason can't even be said out loud by anyone.
How is this a way to live?
That said, I don't care if morons DO want to use it as a slur. Big fricking deal. People say horrible things to each other all the time. Reminds me of the absurdity in this scene from Semi-Pro.
Jive Turkey?!?

Wait…what am I lecturing people on?
They all know why it’s different, they just really really really want to be able to say the N word and not get in trouble for it. For some of them this is a big issue.
The hilarious part is they could say it whenever they want but they’re too scared.
