I really hope TAF sees a major backlash on this.

When TAF and LSU contact me again for money, I will make it known why they won't see anymore money from me.

The straw that broke the camel's back for me was lighting up TS to honor Floyd. Despicable.

That’s fair. I just disagree, but you may be right.

It certainly is not in LSUs best interest to promote any political views

Well, they're in the same situation every other major entity is in. Promote the left's cause de jour and face the backlash from fans, alumni, and financial backers or remain neutral and get a PR black eye from whiny students on Twitter.

Let's not pretend these administrators are a mix of all political views because they aren't. This is a left leaning group pushing an agenda and they've fooled a lot of people into thinking its some altruistic campaign.

I'm not going to mince my words. I've had enough. Why aren't we honoring the legacy of people who fricking deserve it? Where's the honor LSU is giving Capt. David Dorn? A retired black LEO who was killed by a piece of shite protester. Did his life matter? Why isn't TS lit up to honor his legacy and life lived?

No. We shouldn't celebrate men with Floyd's character. We shouldn't martyr them. He didn't deserve to die, but he didn't deserve much else.

Then how about: “BE HEARD” “SHARE YOUR VOICE” “YOUR OPINION MATTERS” “IT’S YOUR RIGHT”

I’d be fine with any and all of those. People need to vote and be heard even if I don’t agree with them. The more people vote and hopefully informed votes the better.

20% or less of a constituency should never be enough to make decisions for the rest.

Good bye! Didn’t miss the NFL. Now I’m gonna have my Saturday’s back too. Be the change is code for “vote democrat “. I don’t put LSU football over my country. Sad.

some sort of "change" is necessary.

It is.

We need to get/keep people like Mayo Cheat, Kopmala Harris, Greg Fischer, Michael Bloomberg, and Rahm Emanuel out of power.

The question is who is pushing this at LSU? I follow the rest of the SEC schools on social media and it’s been nothing like this from those other schools. Somebody at LSU is using the school to promote an agenda.

LSU football actively pushing “change” in a presidential election year is absurd.

And a guy who has been an elected government official for 47 years is the one who is going to change things?

The governor has embraced LSU football and the football coach has been tied to the governor. Now we see the football program actively involved in politics pushing the BLM agenda. BLM a political organization.
In today’s America, it’s really not a good idea.

Since this shite really got rolling under his watch, I’d have to guess that interim president Galligan has a lot to do with it. Using the university, specifically the football program, to promote a political agenda is inexcusable. We all agree that F*King Alexander was a POS, but Galligan may turn out to be worse.

That did it for me as well. Tiger Stadium should never have any lights except for purple and gold.

I disagree with your logic. Be the change is a call to action, and it is bolstering their idea that change is necessary. But where? For who? They are going to vote out Democrats in these cities and they'll vote in more Democrats. The cities that are having the most issues right now have been under Democrat rule for DECADES. Here's the last time each of these cities had a Republican Mayor: Minneapolis: 1973 Chicago: 1931 Baltimore: 1963 St. Louis: 1949 Detroit: 1962 New Orleans: 1872 Baton Rouge: had republican leadership from 1995-2005, but since RECONSTRUCTION and since 2005, full Democrat control. So WHAT CHANGE will voting bring them? They're going to vote in more Democrats. And if we're to believe that Trump has caused all of this chaos and dysfunction in inner cities, then he's obviously not the idiot the left makes him out to be. (To be clear, no President and no Republican has had any effect on these cities in decades. They exist today as Democrats want them to be.)

Voting out change, doesn’t mean voting out party. There are plenty of “republicans” I’d love to currently vote and replace with someone that has real conservative values

I’m sure democrats feel they same about some of their lunatics

Don’t disagree but I believe both sides have been programmed to vote their party no matter what

People do not vote for people at this point only party. That’s the only excuse I can see for how these incompetent democrats and republicans keep getting elected
